Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Letny (“we”, letny.lol) collects, why, and your rights. Letny is run by the operator of Letny, an individual based in North Macedonia. Contact: support@letny.lol.

What we collect

• Waitlist: your email address and, if you enter it, your YouTube channel link, your browser language and the page that sent you.
• Account: email address, name and profile picture from Google (if you sign in with Google), your plan, saved folders, tracked channels and settings.
• Payments: handled by Paddle (see below). We receive your plan, subscription status, country and the last digits/type of your card for your invoices, never the full card number.
• Usage: API calls, credits, AI image requests and MCP calls, so we can apply plan limits and show your usage.
• Support messages and bug reports you send us.
• Chrome extension: the extension reads the public YouTube channel pages you open to show channel statistics on the page; this happens in your browser. If you sign in, it keeps your Letny sign-in token in the extension's local storage to know your plan, and downloads the Letny channel database for Starter / Pro. Only if you turn on “Help collect” (off by default) it sends public channel numbers (channel id, name, subscribers, public video titles and view counts) to Letny and checks a few public channel pages in the background. The extension never reads or sends your browsing history, your YouTube account, cookies, or the content of other websites, and it does not sell or share data.

The channel and video data in Letny comes from public YouTube information. Letny uses YouTube API Services to show public YouTube channel and video statistics. By using Letny you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; see also the Google Privacy Policy. This data is about public channels, not about you as a visitor.

Why we use it

• To run your account and give you the features of your plan (contract).
• To send emails you need: waitlist confirmation, access invite, sign-in links, receipts and important account notices (contract / legitimate interest).
• Optional emails such as weekly niche reports, only if you turn them on (consent; you can turn them off any time).
• To prevent abuse, spam and fraud, and to keep the service secure (legitimate interest).

Who processes data for us

• Supabase (database, sign-in, file storage; servers in the EU, Frankfurt).
• Paddle (payments and invoices; Paddle is the merchant of record and reseller of Letny — see paddle.com/legal).
• Resend (sending emails).
• Netlify (hosting the website).
• Google (only if you choose “Sign in with Google”).
• AI providers that generate images or answers when you use AI features (they receive only the prompt/content you submit).

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account exists. Waitlist entries are deleted when you ask or 12 months after launch if you never created an account. Invoices are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to support@letny.lol. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies

We use only what is needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings (browser storage). No advertising cookies.

Children

Letny is not meant for children under 16.

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and email you about important changes.
